Phew! After a lot of meetings, many phone calls and a few gallons of (organic, fair trade) coffee the new WWF Footprint Calculator site is live. We’ve had a version up since March which has let you calculate your basic ecological footprint and see a few recommendations, but the latest update is our grand vision in full, with a full set of eco-tips that impact your overall footprint and lots of ways to challenge and discuss other footprinters: diary entries (like this), a discussion board and the ability to create your own public and private groups.

It’s like being a proud father the morning after your first child is born!

There’s been lots of hard work from many, many people to get the site to this stage, but I’d need another dozen diary entries to thank everyone…

Don’t forget though, this is just one component of WWF’s One Planet Living campaign. It’s not a quick fix.
