Global warming is perhaps the most serious thing WE must address today. European countries are small in comparison to the giants to the west and east of us, but we all have to do as much as we can, but as long as the major countries here still use fossil fuels for energy and heating, then the planet is doomed. Countries such as Sweden and Norway are leading the way forward, vast hydro schemes in both countries, all household rubbish incinerated for heating and energy, forest byproducts widely used to great advantage. These countries are a show place for cleanliness.
