Here, here. We must do our individual best to reduce what we use up and take care how we run our lives. Educating kids is the best way forward because they will rebel against our generation’s irresponsibilities as a matter of course.

Thanks for your comment, and as you say, its the children of today that MUST be educated about the way this planet is being treated. In company, I always start discussing the climate change subject, and its so surprising that well educated people still cant believe that we are living on borrowed time. Always the same replies…..oh it wont happen here…..its nice to have it a bit warmer…...flooding, it does not happen here….and so on. I believe what the scientists have been saying for past years. Where I live here in Sweden, in a small village, one MUST have a car. or else one is cut off completely. Even so, I would gladly have petrol rationing as we did during the Suez crisis. Sweden lies at the forefront when it comes to energy production. Less than 1% comes from fossil fuels, whereas the UK relies heavily on fossil fuels, coal, gas and oil for its energy. Wind power is a step in the right direction, but at the rate they are being built, the climate disaster will be upon us before wind power has any positive effect.

Educating people is the only way anything will ever get done, (alongside action).

Global Warming needs to stop, as least we are trying to make a chnage not all the other people who sit on the ass all day and do nothing.
