Eco curious's profile

1.59 planets

I am a 48 Year old degree level electrical engineer, working for a Local Government. I really care about our planet, but find it difficult to accept everything that is stated. I am puzzled when people almost accuse me of being an Eco-nazi, because I do not agree with everything I read or hear. I ask a lot of questions to get an informative answer.

Take a trip to your local Farmers' MarketHelp

A farmers' market is one in which local farmers or producers sell their own produce. All products sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder. FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association, independently assesses and certifies the markets so you can be confident you are supporting your local community and economy, and reducing your food miles.

Did you know: If properly positioned, this will let you collect rainwater runoff from your roof and guttering and will save you from using drinking quality tap water to water your plants in the drier months.

  • Stuff

    Use biodegradable bin bags
