Take a trip to your local Farmers' MarketHelp
A farmers' market is one in which local farmers or producers sell their own produce. All products sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder. FARMA, the National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association, independently assesses and certifies the markets so you can be confident you are supporting your local community and economy, and reducing your food miles.

Buy Marine Stewardship Council certified fishHelp
Did you know: Over three quarters of the world's fishing grounds have been so overfished they are now below sustainable levels. The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an independent global non-profit organisation which has developed an environmental standard for sustainable and well-managed fisheries. MSC-certified products now include Thames herring and prawns from Scotland's Loch Torridon, as well as salmon and other products from around the world. They can be bought in shops, supermarkets and even restaurants in the UK.
